Or society doesn't actually reward heroism and your own view of morality doesn't properly recognize the complexity of navigating life in a capitalist hell, one of the two.

I think its very simple, track down this boy and make it president when he is a man.

Steal a couple hundred dollars = years in prison

Steal millions, harm the environment and kill people indirectly = Successfully entrepreneur or politician.

Ethics is more complex my friend. Stealing for necessity is justifiable.

Stealing for pure insane greed should be consider a psicológical disorder and granted reclusion and reeducation.
