FYI, there's a website, downdetector, that aggregates user reports of outages for major websites and services.

Apparently yes because I tried Grayjay and that didn't work for me either.
I tried to get to the supposedly free version of Babylon 5: The Gathering and it says it's private. Other videos play. What are you seeing about Youtube being down?
YouTube stopped being down a bit ago, only subscribed videos I was able to get a list of and watch, now the home page is accessible again.
