Xbox is dead at this point unless Microsoft replaces the current CEO with someone who actually cares about non-enterprise markets.
I just view them as a publisher now at this point. I don't have any Xbox hardware but damnit I do love AOE and Gears, I can't help it.
It isn't dead it's just going to be third party hardware in future, but they are releasing a new console. The hardware will still exist from 2027 until 2037. People will be buying xbox consoles 8 years from now.
They fucked up with their gamepass pricing big time. I was a 24 year subscriber. They lost me after raising the price 50%.
I'm on Premium at the moment it's the same price as youtube and many other subscriptions. Ultimate is just ridiculous and you're not going to get brand new AAA games upon release for the price of two lattes a month.
