For someone stuck in a red state, Trump is making where being a blue state puts you in danger. Here Oklahoma don't see ICE doing this shit here. I really want out and wanted to go to a blue state. But looks like better leaving this shit hole country.
It's only a matter of time. I believe I'd read that ICE will soon be deployed in New Orleans. Partially to punish/"clean up" the city, but also because it's easy to justify and then allows easy and "justifiable" expansion to Houston, so that they can get a foothold here in Texas. Likely, they'd go from there to Austin, and probably here in San Antonio, and then make their way to Dallas. Dallas will give the agents a little treat, since so many of the citizens will laugh at immigrants while getting their own throat crushed by a boot.
From there, it's a simple stone's throw to Oklahoma.
I think the cities being chosen right now are partially because Trump gets to feel like a big boy dictator attacking his enemies, but primarily to get other cities on board with being invaded. They'll just tell themselves that ICE is a necessary evil presence if they wanna see other people get punished.
Moving armed feds towards certain cities every week sounds a lot more like a wartime battle than immigration customs enforcement at a border.
It's more about having conservative forces occupying the country.
I'm sure that Susan Collins will be Very Concerned.

Wasn't it a year or two ago that all of the Republican governors were sending these immigrants to "blue cities." And now the Trump administration is raiding all of those blue cities? I'm not much of a conspiracy theorist, but these two seem connected.

It's a place where the working class outnumbers their wardens in great enough number to tilt the see-saw.

It had some sort of surge in New Orleans, but the Republicans in Louisiana are overjoyed to see city folk get stomped on. Almost all cities are blue, so deploying to a red state just means the governor will cheer them on rather than talk tough and do nothing.
