Merriam-Webster's Word of the Year is "Slop"
Merriam-Webster’s human editors have chosen slop as the 2025 Word of the Year. We define slop as “digital content of low quality that is produced usually in quantity by means of artificial intelligence.” All that stuff dumped on our screens, captured in just four letters: the English language came through again.

The word of the year should be "stop". As in "STOP PUSHING THIS FUCKING SLOP DOWN OUR THROAT FROM EVERY CONCEIVABLE ANGLE!"
Not the best presentation. I could make a "sloppier" collage by for example shifting body proportions into an uncanny valley and including the tasteless average-of-all-comics-style instead of stock 3D figurines − do they have a deal with stock image vendors to not alter them too much?
