Discovered a pen pocket on one of my shirts

There's a little hole in the flap of the pocket where I can put my favourite cheap pen, a Pilot G-2. This shirt is already comfy. Now it's extra useful too.

Please take the time to read the side bar.

0.7 mm is clearly pushing it.

I love how 0.25 looks but hate how it feels to write with especially if there is any tiny defect.

Understanding the usefulness of shirt pockets is part of growing up.

Smart. Is it just a gap in the seam of the flap, or is it an extra pocket?

Just a gap in the seam. It's reinforced a bit on either side so it won't widen either.

Missed chance. I hope someone gets sufficiently inspired to bring this to completion.

Bonus points for the reinforcements, though. Just cutting the seams would be a recipe for disaster.

I've seen pen pockets before where there's a full pocket behind the chest pocket.

Also I have a bomber jacket with a lot of narrow pockets on one upper arm. Originally the design was for holding cigarettes because, WW2 era everyone smoked. They're handy for keeping pens or candy canes. Or flowers to make a delightful bouquet.
