Recently had to use a windows laptop for work. So weird to not be able to securely update all your packages but rather have some hacky IT tools that feel like malware scream out that they are updating some basic software on said laptop.
I always, always have the urge to update my image and flatpaks even when I have zero reason to. And if I have nothing productive to do anyways, why not lol.
On Windows I always delay big updates by, at minimum, a week. I don't trust them.

Am I the only weirdo who updates their system when they're about to log off for the night?
Then again I also only update like once a week....sometimes every 2 weeks if I forget.
I try to only update stuff when I got time to fix something that breaks potentially.

IME the longer I wait, the higher the chances of an update break something, so I update my main desktop multiple times a day.
I update when I log on, then again before I log off. I use Arch, btw.

I try not to do this any more because if it takes a while the cortisol stops me from getting to sleep afterwards.

I don't update anymore. My computer does that in the background completely. Thank you fedora and opensuse!
I have no idea on which GNOME version I am. I just know it's always the latest.
It happens all in the background on the atomic versions. Opensuse aeon is amazing.
