The real problem is it's changed over the years. As the tellers stopped handling so much money and change, they've moved more toward receiving and tendering checks. While there are still a decent number of cash deposits and the occasional need for specific bill withdrawals, over time it will dwindle from cotton paper dust to more wood pulp and microplastic-based dust. Also it matters a lot where your bank dust has been collectioned, the dust from the air handling system filters contains more fine particulate and urea from duct-based robbery attempts, where as the dust collected from the mob stations are more of wax-based dust.

Please subscribe for more made-up bank-dust-based facts.

I wonder what the flavor difference between beet broth, and beef moth is.

Definitely a special item you’d find in Fallout that’s just jet and psycho mixed together or something.

If you can't get a hold of any bank powder then safe deposit box granules will do.

I figured I'd just take the jackhammer down to Chase and get my own freshly made.

It looked really good and then I started reading the ingredients. I got mad. Like, really quite angry.

That highlights a big problem. The images are almost definitely all AI generated. And yet they look pretty convincing.

Maybe. I think it had a lot more to do with me being a bit hangry to begin with.

I like that it put umlauts on the "b"s in the Swedish meatball recipe.

I cook a lot and search recipes often. Entirely AI generated recipe sites are all over the fucking place now. They all seem to have some form of "Marry Me Chicken".

Unfortunately the image generation has gotten quite good. They still have a sort of look about them (like in this example, they're all in the same exact type of vessel). Many of the recipe sites separate out the text generation from the image generation so there are far fewer obvious crazy typos.

Someone needs to laminate this and put it out at Omega Mart.

Is Isabelle passing this out on Animal Crossing? (Nintendo game where almost all the text looks like AI slop. There's a fan theory that it takes place many centuries in the future, post-apocalyptic, and they don't actually know what English (or whatever localised language the Switch is set to) except the shops do have accurately written names. But for the rest? Either they used AI, or they mixed up a bunch of languages (including Arabic, it kinda has the "noodle" effect). Or they just didn't know.

3

I thought it was basically animals brought up to sapience trying to keep the very small number of humans left alive comfortable and happy. It's basically a conservation effort. They realized we re-wired our brains to require us to be working off debt to be "comfortable" so Tom Nook pretends to loan us a bunch of money we have to work off, and that's also why the economy makes no sense and everyone is just so happy that we sell them a potato or a nice rock or whatever.

3

As if "AI posts blocked" would be honored if a single cent was to be made.

3

For awareness of it? It has gotten nefarious. Web searching for recipes in general now returns like 30% completely AI generated websites depending on what you're looking for.
