They're actually pretty much true same things, but the only difference is Goto is made with Beef Tripe and Arroz Caldo is made with chicken 😋

Comfort food indeed! I always associate congee with foods you eat when you’re sick. Like the equivalent chicken noodle soup. Blame my parents. xD

Shredded chicken, ginger, fried shallots, and cilantro go well together too

We did have some chicken noodle soup not a few days ago, can't go wrong with a good chicken noodle in hand!

Hey Bestie!
Got any left for me, lol! That looks delicious! It also looks a lot like lugao – are they the same thing?

Hoy Kabayan! We still have some left actually so you've got a chance 😅 Yeah they're all the same thing tbh Goto is made with Beef Tripe, Arroz Caldo is with chicken and some added saffron and optional but recommended hard boiled egg 😋 Lugaw is basically the same as Arroz Caldo.

You reached the end

Goto, Filipino rice soup, similar to Chinese Congee, made with beef tripe decorated with optional fried garlic and green onions. Could also put fish sauce if you want. | Spyke
