I don't think you will find much traction on the fediverse except for the folks over on instances that have been defederated for other reasons such as maga.place.

Thanks for the data! The fediverse is new and still a learning curve over for a lot of people, but it's not just about traction, it's about people sharing their cooking skills and posting amazing snapshots! Not sure what maga.place is but if it's what the name implies, Carnivore Kitchen is non-political and everyone is welcome!

Thanks for the ping. The more the merrier!

It's a fairly niche area so keeping the content coming will be a challenge, but I am hopeful these new mods can make it happen.

Sorry, I was mistaken! Somehow you post in a different time zone than me and I miss your posts, when I go to the community then I see there is quite a lot, but you have the same problem as me that it's mostly only you who is posting ^^.

Niche communities have some growing pains here, but I'm hopeful we will get critical mass... one day

there's a few growing pains in any new community, but it's been overwhelmingly positive!

A manchild, yes.

Never met a vegan half as obnoxious and preachy as people who make hating vegans their entire personality.

I actually have a vegan in-law and whenever they come over, I make a vegan dish just for them. I personally think we can eat different foods and still pray together. Manchild? No, I think that's quite mature and accepting.

FWIW the zero-carb / carnivore communities don't hate vegans; Nothing about being metabolically healthy requires us to hate on people who choose a different path. The issue is that one group has made their entire identity about what other people eat and proselytizing... so they see the fact zero carb diets work as a personal attack and react... even though it isn't about them at all.

Not a vegan, and I'm downvoting your stupid post.

Unhealthy, unethical, sect-like behaviour can go to the trash.

And I'm Upvoting your post. It's all love over here! I support the freedom speech. I actually like vegan recipes. When I cook one, I celebrate with a cheeseburger.
