They can't shoot back in Illinois because it's incredibly difficult to obtain a firearm and carry license there. They voted themselves into being a largely disarmed populace and left themselves defenseless
What a crap take. Nearly 30% of adults in Illinois own a gun. So it's not about availability of guns, maybe normal people don't want to just go shooting officers and get themselves killed.
