Giving your 83 AI babies government jobs = blatant nepotism

Now the question is, who fucked the computer?

11
feddit.dk

Holy shit I would have a hard time announcing that with a straight face.

lemmy.today

Especially because you know someone’s gonna ask who impregnated her…

26

Sam Altman and Peter Thiel probably paid good money for that...

Or just some politician is suffering from heavy AI psychosis...

15

My guess: they bought/implemented an ChatGPT subscription or AI agentic system for the party members, and they have a super weird way of announcing it... maybe to make it understandable to very non-technical people?

28

One minute ago I was mourning and feeling lost about the world. I open Lemmy and: 83 AI kids. This has been the entire last year: bouncing between feeling lost in life and feeling baffled by the stupidity of life. Our government AI minister is pregnant with 83 kids.

That is a magnificent term. ChatGPT tells me bee queens lay 2000 eggs a day, or duomilluplets.

19

i think octoginta sounds more like a desease, like "oh no i forgot my octogintis meds" while milluplets sound like a fancy kind of pastry that used to be hyped on tik-tok or something. This is fun! The devil would probably father sescentisexagintasextuplets (leChat guesses) which sounds like a sexy spell to assemble a book shelf.

...i should sleep

It's also what the chat in my name is from (my real name is a verb chatoyancy is related to).

Damn, Albania is really on the forefront of AI research nowadays, aren’t they?

Apparently they figured out how to have sex with an AI girlfriend.

34
sh.itjust.works

So, is the leadership fucking stupid, or do they expect their voters to be fucking stupid?

29

Albania was basically like North Korea until 91. The current leadership were born into an isolationist state.

13
feddit.org

Could be a government having a little fun. It does distract from the dystopian nature of using LLMs like they apparently do ...

Either way, voters are that stupid. See all the elections that the far right is winning.

More likely is that they're not stupid. They're just not informed because they have other shit to do.

1

It's not that much effort to be a little politically informed. It's pretty stupid to not put in that effort - whatever shit you have to do, if you vote far right parties into the government, chances are good that you'll have even more shit to do.

lemmy.world

The world is so fucked I can't even tell if this is satire at this point, regardless of itlf it's posted here.

22

Can we talk about the second half where the guy's proclaiming the benefit that when legislators miss sessions, the AI can tell them what they missed, and how they should respond??? Sounds wonderful. Let's have our legislators getting orders from miss Edi Rama's 83 slop-goblins.

13
lemmy.zip

My Interpretation is that they made ai assistants for each government official and then somehow got the weird idea to announce it like the woman who is the ai minister is giving birth to her ai children.

37

piefed.world

And the funny thing about the AI minister is that she is an AI.

24
lemmy.zip

Oh... I somehow assumed the ai minister of a country would be a minister for ai instead of a llm with legislative powers 🫠 fuck this reality

At least it makes the ai children comment less weird i guess

9
lemmy.zip

Does a minister have executive powers? Thought thats the chancellor / president / whoever has the final say if anything is actually to be actually done.

3

sopuli.xyz

Executive branch is usually shared by ministers. President in many countries is only a representative and at most has legislative veto rights or something.

4

To be fair, I trust AI more than humans. It will at worst, make random decisions, and not ones motivated by lobby money.

Albania is making an improvement...

0

That makes the comment slightly less weird, to be honest. Still weird, don't get me wrong, but less so.

3
lemmy.world

My guesses:

  • A LLM is roleplaying as a pregnant minister.
  • A woman is "AI" minister and she's pregnant, theres a typo and the government is publicly admitting corruption through nepotism.
15

A LLM is "working" as a minister. The government prenteds this pretend person to be the lifegiver of 83 others.

21

I mean, it's a funny way to say that they are expanding use of this llm.

3

I can't believe I am saying this, but I would have preferred it presented as corporate "increasing productivity" speech

12

I don't know how to insert gifs on Lemmy, but I feel this ones appropriate for the What the fuck gif.

10

Nice to know the world has such amazing leaders. We will be alright! /s

Wrong sub, irrelevant country and a terrible thing to read.

It's a reference to Trump confusing Armenia with Albania while visiting bragging to the British PM.

Edi Rama(Albanian PM) joked with Emmanuel Macron(French President) and Ilham Aliyev(Azerbaijani President) later about the Trump's "peace deal" and Aliyev busted out laughing.

He seems like a jokester.
