You’re sentenced to death, what animal WYR have kill you?

The group chat got leaked and now you have been sentenced to death in a Roman wild beast hunt. If you kill the animal, another one will be put in to take its place. You are completely unarmed. Any animal that could eventually kill a human is allowed. (You can’t say something like a fruit fly, for instance.)

Blue-ringed octopus

Their bite is painless, and their venom incredibly lethal

They're gorgeous too!

They hang around in rock pools

I'll have time to get back onto the beach and drink a last whisky, pat my dog and give my woman one last kiss and tell her that I love her

I actually had the same idea, and checked. Some mambas don't cause the nasty flesh burning effect, but they still kill you by paralytic suffocation.

Too bad, an asp to the breast is a classic.

Noooo, not the group chat!

There's got to be some kind of venom that doesn't hurt much. But, I see I'm not the first to answer with that. Okay, other idea: death by falling giant clam.

Big cats go straight for a quick kill I believe so I'd say a tiger.

Edit: actually I might pick a constrictor snake like anaconda instead. It wont instantly kill you but you'll likely pass out in under a minute.

Elephant.

It'd be cool to die fighting a terrifying unbeatable giant. And getting my skull crushed would be painless too.

A T-Rex. At least I'll be able to see a dinosaur with my own eyes before it rips me apart.

Oooh, cool loophole!

I wonder what an anomalocaris could do to a human.

I don't think they even had a jaw, although I could be wrong. But, those radiodont appendages look like they could do some damage.
