At what point should a Polycule have more than 1 tooth brush?

I think 1 is more than enough despite the size of the polycule and keeps the counter looking tidy. What do you think?

Update: getting an electric tooth brush with our first fruits and getting a separate brush attachment for each of us that we can make a piece of pottery to hold super easy! Thanks for the input those that were helpful!

Why do you have to show so much disrespect to fractions like that? My 5/7ths of a toothbrush works just fine, thank you very much!

The logic would be that one toothbrush is capable of serving many more people than the polycule contains.

Do you fucking have a communal piece of dental floss that you all use too?

I want them to confess, actually. But it's true that it's obvious.

Your assholish attitude is not welcome, though.

Since I had zero clue:

In polyamory, a polycule is a group of individuals involved in romanticrelationships that connect all the members in the group.[1][2] It is not necessary for every individual of the polycule to be in a relationship with every other individual, and also not common.[3][4] The most simple and arguably most common polycule structure is a V shaped structure, a three-person polycule where one person is dating the two others, but the two others are not dating one another.

It is sometimes recommended that each person have TWO toothbrushes to ensure that it dries thoroughly between uses. You don't want to be culturing your mouth bacteria on your toothbrush.

You also don't all have the same mouth biome, because you likely have different oral hygiene habits, diets, etc. So no, you don't want to share toothbrushes, those of you with less healthy oral biomes may be giving undesirable stuff to those of you with healthier ones.

Someone with "Lenin" in the nickname should not ask this question because it is obvious commies will confiscate all the toothbrushes.

It's what you get when one or more mommycules and one or more daddycules love each other very much...

If you replace yours after every use, then go for it!

If you keep a more traditional schedule of toothbrush replacement, I'd strongly suggest one brush per person per month. You might get away with one brush per 2 people per month, or one brush per person per up to 3 months, but not both.

That's what big tooth brush wants you to think. If you use mouth wash after you brush, like you are supposed to, it sanitizes your whole mouth.

The use of mouthwash contributes to the evolution of resistant bacteria. Mouthwash should be used sparingly, only for when it's needed (i.e. medically).

The use of mouthwash also nearly negates the use of a flouride-based toothpaste.

Am I going crazy? One toothbrush for every person. I'm a monogamuggle, and I don't even share a toothbrush regularly with my wife. If you insist on the counter being tidy, put them in a drawer. Also prevents aerosolized fecal matter from getting on the toothbrush head.

My theory, this is someone deeply deluded who believes that they are multiple different people inhabiting one body. They have come into conflict within themselves of thinking that they are multiple people this requiring multiple toothbrushes and the reality of being one person who only needs one toothbrush.

You reached the end
