I really have to give huge props to Bob. I watch his shows after my bartending job on Wednesday nights and it has definitely given me great techniques for my sketching and water color painting.

Happy little trees!! 🥰

They look beautiful! I think bottom left is my favorite

Weeping willows are 1000% my favorite in person, but really like how the shading turned out in bot left

Droopy trees are the best

I’m actually jealous of this. Great work!

Wow thank you. It’s easier than it seems, watch the video I posted in another comment. I was surprised by how well they come out by just layering little squiggles in the shape of a tree.

I’m definitely going to give it a try. I saved the video to watch later. I always really liked this type of art but I’ve never really been great at drawing.

Patience, practice and have fun with it dude. A little over a year ago I picked up a sketchpad and pencil and just started doodling my dog lying around the house. I’ll throw on my headphones and listen to music while I let my pencil, pen or paint brush lead me see where we ended up. It’s a great escape and absolutely low stakes. What ever comes out isn’t going to be the Mona Lisa, and who cares? You have made something and that is something to be proud of

It’s so funny- that was the first one I did and I did not set out to do a conifer. I just let my pen lead me and that’s where we ended up

You reached the end
