We can only hope that old Lindsey Graham quote is true,
"If we nominate Trump, we will get destroyed ... and we will deserve it."
It would be great if he could be correct about something, just this once.
Except it feels like the opposite is happening. I mean, here he is at round 2 of a presidency. Nobody learned anything, and there's certainly not been any destruction. Everything has been swept under the rug.

Then move to Texas, where the Democrats can't even put up a fight so Republicans run unopposed in many races. No shade on them though, it costs time and money to do things and the government actively goes after Democrats running for anything, accusing them of malfeasance at every step.
