I only see 6-7? Can you point it out. Also goals lol! I only have 3 screens. No cool arms for monitors, so monitors on top of monitors. I'd love to have one stacked on top of my main monitor
11 is an apple display panel I bought a number of years ago from Louis Rossmann when he was having to liquidate his stock of them because of some change apple made that effectively made them useless for future repairs. I did not have a machine that would use this display so i had him peel the wrapping off it and sign it instead so i could hang it on my wall. If you look closely you can kind of just make out "FUCK APPLE" and then his signature below.

I was just counting screens/displays. There’s technically 2pcs and an old mbp driving the actual monitors. 9 being what it is probably has a lot to do with the lack of an 8
Quite a few GPUs can do 3-4 monitors so you could do it with 3x 4-head cards and as long as you’re not doing 3D you can get smaller cards. You can also do USB to displays too.
I have two ultrawides stacked on top of each other with two 16:10 in portrait mode on the sides aka the fat TIE fighter layout. My layout isn't in the chart, but I am certain it would be considered evil.
My gaming setup at home is currently Neutral Good, with the regular monitor being a 48" 4K OLED monitor and the tilted one being a 28" DualUp monitor (one tall almost-square monitor the size of two small monitors stacked on top of each other). I used to be Chaotic Good, but with three regular monitors side-by-side and a tilted one instead of just two and one.
My next goal is Chaotic Neutral, but with three monitors on the bottom row (maybe 27"-36" each?) and my giant 48" monitor on top, wall-mounted above the others.
When I was in the US military working as an IT guy, I once worked for a Weather Squadron where every computer on the Operations Floor had the Neutral Evil setup. All four displays rarely worked at the same time; us IT guys were always fixing them. The only real fix was to unplug their monitor cable and plug it back in over and over until the computer finally detected it. Truly an evil setup.
Some of those computers also had a fifth monitor. The Lead Desk for each section, who needed to update a digital status board, which was just a giant monitor on one wall of the room.
Most places I worked in the military were arranged like Lawful Good. If you were really lucky, you might get a third monitor too.
I’ve got 3 screens on all the time - work laptop and the two monitors connected to it, horizontally configured, with a weird format (8:3 - 1920x720) monitor underneath the middle monitor connected to a different machine that I got for movies during work, but I never actually remember to use it. If we add in the phone, that’s 5 screens.
Somehow on completely random and unrelated measurements of D&D alignments, I keep turning up true neutral/lawful neutral. I am starting to believe this is my destiny manifest.
I essentially fall under lawful neutral but I'm not so sure the maker of this graphic would agree if they found out the monitor's height isn't adjustable so it's standing on the package of a dumbbell set (two weights I never use and the instructions should still be in there).
The laptop is placed on an incomplete ikea bathroom mirror cabinet shelf add-on that I basically used once and realized I didn't actually need it so it's been in misuse ever since I bought it basically. The bathroom shelf is only half as deep as the laptop so I've added a pad of mixed media art paper on top of it/below the laptop for stability.
I guess I am technically Lawful Neutral, but my main display is a curved display and takes up most of my desk and the second display blocks the bottom corner of it.
I don't see my setup here. 1 monitor + 1 tv pointed to my chair and another tv on the other side of my 2 monitors pointing to the bed. Where does this fit in?
Anyone here running large dual 21:9 monitors? I have a great primary monitor and my old monitor that works ok. I’m thinking of mounting them in the lawful evil config but feel like it’s going to be uncomfortable to use. Anyone with a similar set up willing to let me know their experience?
I have one 49" curved monitor with built-in kvm (so I can switch between work and play) with a surface pro sitting underneath (so I can doomscroll YouTube autoplay while I work)
Laptop half open, with the screen off, connected to a TV via HDMI that I use as a screen. All are old (around 2010) and kinda bad, but it's all I have and I feel lucky to even have it.
chaotic gremlin
Edit: don’t do drugs kids
(It’s technically
81110 (i swear i can count))The phone really seals the deal
there's 2 :p
Lol big battery on her.
Hoverboards don’t work on water
Unless you've got POWER!

Wait is it just me or is there no 8? And what's 9? Is that a joystick? And is 10 the clock? Is it actually connected to the computer?
9 looks like a vape. Not seeing 8 either
Honestly 9 kinda explains why there’s no 8…
I was just counting screens/displays. There’s technically 2pcs and an old mbp driving the actual monitors. 9 being what it is probably has a lot to do with the lack of an 8
They should have used mine for CE.
This was mine
Unfortunately I had to take the top one off when I got a new 360hz monitor.
See, to me that's ideal. I'd have it just the same if I could, but having the far one turned 45 degrees creates such a cozy feeling.
Drop the far right one and that's mine
This is an ad, right?
100%. Secret lab trying to sale their monitor arm.
One of the better ones to be honest
Update:
This mf be typing
For when you get hacked.
A FreeTube user? I see you're a person of culture…
Damn bro, how many hands you got?
One of the most cozy setups I've ever seen. Except whatever it is surrounding the cable in the top right. Kinda disgsuting looking.
That white thing is not a cable. It's a peacock feather.
Hell yeah
It had to be done
I'm bottom right. Some games are made for it, but mainly reading is sooooo much better.
And then you got this guy…
I unironically think i may have seen that setup IRL,it looks familiar lol
Interestingly the flags appear to be arranged in alphabetical order. Also the mouse.
How do you alphabetical a mouse?
Emosu
There’s no way that’s running off a single gpu.

No diagonals? Pity…

If only my monitor rotated… I'd be so down to doing it. I wonder what fullscreen looks like on that
You are true neutral because you like simplicity
I am true neutral because I am poor
We are not the same.
I hope I can find a Wayland compositor that supports circular monitor setups
I have a laptop in portrait mode directly above a landscape monitor. I'm ungovernable, apparently.
I have two ultrawides stacked on top of each other with two 16:10 in portrait mode on the sides aka the fat TIE fighter layout. My layout isn't in the chart, but I am certain it would be considered evil.
Lawful evil due to a lack of desk real estate. Though I do deeply desire a vertical monitor too.
Chaotic good, but middle is ultrawide
Same ! I have also setup a KVM switch to keep the same setup when I WFH.
I have a poor man's KVM switch -- a USB switch and 3 HDMI switches.
One day I'll put that all on one button.
Lawful neutral at the moment.
2K screen as main, old ass 720p monitor (my first ever HD screen!) recycled as secondary monitor.
What about the tie fighter setup, with 2 vertical monitors on either side of a horizontal?
true neutral here, i don't have desk space or enough money for a second monitor
Lawful evil works if you have vertical space
Chaotic good
I once had a Chaotic Good setup but now literally none of my four personal setups are here.
I'm close, I got a reverse neutral good cause I play old arcade shootemups. And a planted fish tank that seems to do pretty well with the window.
I had my vertical display for Pinball FX!
It runs portrait native? I got a couple tables for the switch, but none on steam. This must change!
Neither my work config (2 + laptop) nor my home setup (ultrawide + 1) are there. Be uncategorizable!
I miss my chaotic good set-up.
I've got 3 horizontal
Same. Plus a TV on a different wall. And I just realized I left it on.
So do I, but one is below the other two!
My center monitor is a bit below the other two
I sure love seeing ads on my Lemmy feed!
Chaotic Good for me, with my laptop being the left screen (on a stand so that it's at a good height)
My gaming setup at home is currently Neutral Good, with the regular monitor being a 48" 4K OLED monitor and the tilted one being a 28" DualUp monitor (one tall almost-square monitor the size of two small monitors stacked on top of each other). I once set up my two monitors in vertical and spanned games across the two screens for that sweet sweet 9:8 aspect ratio (it was awful).
You tell me
Somehow on completely random and unrelated measurements of D&D alignments, I keep turning up true neutral/lawful neutral. I am starting to believe this is my destiny manifest.
True Neutral - big ultrawide monitor, software to into smaller virtual screens. It's like having multiple monitors.
Two ultrawides in the form of "lawful evil" and one smaller 5:4 screen vertically on the side like "chaotic good"
Triple 4k for me (with a closed laptop beneath, gaming rig to the side)
Currently true neutral, but I want to upgrade to neutral good (but the vertical on the left :3)
true neutral with one giant curved widescreen monitor
My old work desk was like NE, only it was 4x2 screens plus a small extra monitor right next to me.
I have an ultra wide with 2x 24" above. Works great, don't think I could go back to any other arraignment.
I've got one sitting normally in the center of my desk and a touchscreen monitor below it and to the left facing upwards laying on the desk.
Anyone here running large dual 21:9 monitors? I have a great primary monitor and my old monitor that works ok. I’m thinking of mounting them in the lawful evil config but feel like it’s going to be uncomfortable to use. Anyone with a similar set up willing to let me know their experience?
Chaotic evil = Black Keys fan?
I have one 49" curved monitor with built-in kvm (so I can switch between work and play) with a surface pro sitting underneath (so I can doomscroll YouTube autoplay while I work)
I'm lawful evil. It's so great. I can keep my head straight instead of always having it turned.
I guess I'm chaotic neutral but with the laptop below the two screens.
I have a mid 90s tube screen for the terminal and a 24" led as main screen... where does that fit?
Yeah, lawful evil plus the notebook screen to the side right at the middle height of the two.
Side by side, different sizes, and the smaller one has a broken monitor stand so its got a different height too
Chaotic neutral just because I don't have anywhere else to put the third monitor.
You say True Neutral, I say Lazy Neutral and we're both be correct.
Was a true neutral till march-april this year, but then went lawful evil, fits perfectly.
Laptop half open, with the screen off, connected to a TV via HDMI that I use as a screen. All are old (around 2010) and kinda bad, but it's all I have and I feel lucky to even have it.
Happiness through being grateful and appreciating what you have.
I’m neutral, reversed neutral good, lawful good, and then lawful neutral.
Currently Lawful Good, but have been debating buying a 40" to wall mount above my setup & become Chaotic Neutral.
Lawful good + lawful neutral
Neutral good makes the most sense.
Any documents work better on a vertical screen. Same with websites with things like articles and game guides.
