I'm finally about to have some time to lock in on some video games. One of the things I wanted to start on was the Lies of P DLC, Overture. After months of occasionally putting in 10-20 minutes, I have an NG file at Chapter 9, right when Overture becomes accessible.

Should I do anything particular in preparation for Overture? Should I try to push the game to the end before starting the DLC, for balancing's sake? For reference, I have already completed the base game and all of its endings in NG and NG+.

Lastly, should I hoard any upgrade materials? I'm worried that I'm going to get excited to play the DLC and everything is going to literally one shot me, no exaggeration. No spoilers or combat advice please, just feedback on the above questions! Thanks!
