I don't think they have any idea. Yes in Greece everything is car dependant.
Yeah, just returned from Athens - there’s even a highway running along the shore, and the city itself is swarming with cars.
I was thinking this. Reading the article, they're implying a Mediterranean layout. And I'm guessing Greece is the most Mediterranean they can get without scaring white folks.
Not why they singled out Greece, should have said "European model" or something like

TBH, when I visited Athens, it felt like the most car-centric capital I've ever visited in my life (haven't been to US though). Fascinating comparison to be :)
I'd love to live in a neighborhood that has "ass" in it's name
