Fingers as long as your arms, or arms as long as your fingers?
Fingernails are the same size no matter what. Long ass fingers would be kinda cool. But having another 8 arms in such close proximity would be annoying. Thumbs are the same size. Short ass arms though would mean the whole underside of your arm would technically be your arm pit.

Long fingers. With some ingenuity you could probably turn it into a kind of special ability, but tiny arms is always gonna be a reduction in ability

Do you have any idea how much damage I'd do to myself slamming fingers in doors or rolling over onto them in my sleep?
Stubby arms would fucking suck, but at least I feel there would be tools that could compensate. I don't think anything could compensate for constantly breaking my bones.
That said, theoretically I could have them partially amputated down to normal size, which would be the best outcome of both fucked up situations.
Yeah and your finger extensions can be given to people with tiny hands. Or those that chose tiny arms.
Big fingers is weird, but going full t Rex with baby arms sounds debilitating.

Would be cool if the fingers were longer but also had more knuckles, so they kinda turn into tails or snakes. Then you could just coil em up when your not using them
