Turner 30 this week, listening to probably my favorite album to mark the occasion

My dad gave me a CD copy of it for my 15th birthday and i was immediately obsessed with it. I was listening to it and 2112 on the bus once a week, playing it on my stereo in my room, asking my dad if we could listen to it on road trips, all of it. I found this first edition copy alongside a first edition of Wish You Were Here up in town a couple years ago and absolutely love it. Both are in great condition and sound absolutely beautiful, and i usually only break them out for special occasions since i ball up and cry whenever i listen to either.

Anyway, i partied up for my birthday last weekend and the weather is lousy this weekend, so i think i am gonna stay in and watch a movie. I'm thinking about an English WW2 movie, but not ready to commit to A Bridge Too Far so i am open to any suggestions.

Ever seen A Matter of Life and Death aka Stairway to Heaven? Never seen it but heard good things. There's also The Life and Times of Colonel Blimp
