Fun fact: the Flag of Europe in the middle of the template is way older than the European Union, from 1953.

Note: The flags for this year were not selected by me, but are those that people drew during Canvas 2024. I reorganized them to reduce the number of places where identical colors touch. I also reserved a spot for up to 4 newcomers.

(Not So) Fun Fact: 5.8 million dogs and cats were put up for adoption in 2024, and in the same year, there were only 4.2 million adoptions. Consider a shelter animal rather than a breeder for your next pet, and consider donating to your local animal rescue.

It's fine if you guys need to cover some of the leaves with your drawing, but apparently it won't be needed - your drawing is only touching mine, there's no intersection. Cool :)

Great - that's what we were trying to go for, but the inability to load multiple templates simultaneously makes it difficult to confirm!

  • Group name : Feditrain
  • Project : we build a long train or several one, and put our avatar above it. The train will run on flag. Think it as a train that transport us and our message through ActivityPub road.
  • We leaved matrix for Zulip (better thread support and organization. But no federation between servers). So no group yet.
  • Snoopy has plenty cool picture allowing an endless gif to express our feelings and he is a warm type writter

I need to draw the template and test the train scale so our avatar won't be very small.

[For when the canvas expands]

Big Original Boykisser

There are not nearly enough boykissers up until now. To fix this, I propose a fairly big boykisser for when the canvas doubles. This is the original version of the boykisser, back when they hypnotised to viewer. Assuming that the canvas will double to the right at 06:00 CEST (in 5,5h at time of writing), here's a possible Template:

Group Name: D2Jam

Game jam that happens twice a year (eventually having a connection to activitypub through sending posts in the forum as microblogs to be visible on things like mastodon and getting posts from things like mastodon that use the d2jam hashtag). Site is still under construction atm though since its very new

I'm always surprised how chill it is here. The exact opposite of Place, as far as I remember. I threw this out there and drew the outline. Filled in a couple inside pixels, but then fun and helpful strangers carried it all the way through to completion. And it survived to the end even. Nice!

NOTE: the group's goal is to coordinate attacks against the largest country flag in the canvas, whichever it is. Void, random doodling, etc. is welcome.

  1. Be a reasonable and decent human being. (e.g. no bigotry)
  2. No divisive off-topic or NSFW content.
  3. No fragmenting the movement from the inside: apology to large country flags, JAQing off, sealioning, etc. This will be strictly enforced.
  4. No cheating, doxxing, or encouragement of.
  5. Have fun.

The target is always the biggest country flag. Drawings in the flag are disregarded; only width x height counts. In the case of a tie, the leftmost flag takes precedence. Focus preferably on most iconic features of the flag.

Observers are welcome, as long as they follow the rules. You're also free to join the group even if you belong to another group, just make sure there's no conflict of interest. :::

::: spoiler Q-and-A Q1: Why would I join it?
A: Reasons are up to the individual. We don't need to share the same motivation, only the goal.

Q2: What constitutes a large or small flag?
A: Up to debate but we don't need to set this line up, since we're picking on the largest one anyway.

Q3: What about the trans flag? Or the anarchist one?
A: Not country flags, we're leaving them alone.

Q4: What about drawings that are not part of the flag, but associated with it?
A: Leave them alone, and focus on the flag itself. And in the case the flag is built into a bigger drawing, focus on the elements of the flag, not of the rest of the drawing.

Q5: Vandalism is wrong!
A: Not a question, but whatever. This sort of online canvas is not just cooperation, but also competition. Also, people actually concerned about vandalism in the canvas know that the main source of said vandalism are large country flags.

Q6: If u dun liek it, than y u dun fuck off teh gaem?
A: No. People who want to get rid of large flags have as much right to organise themselves towards their common goal as you have to organise your flag. Deal with it.

Q7: as someone working on a large flag, I ask u, can u stop doin that?
Q8: excuuuuuse me, do you know that I'm entitled to have you listen to my defence of large flags?
Q9: ackshyually is this harassment?

Q10: why do you hate [insert population]?
A: Our target is decided based on canvas area, not personal feelings towards the subjects of the government associated with that flag.

Q11: instead of fighting us, why don't you join us to build our MONUMENT?
A: I do monuments like this every day. In my bathroom, just after #2. :::
