Hoping Garnacho's decision making improves, he has held the ball too long a few times now.

Looking forward to see Højlund starting for us so we can see Rashford in his best position. It's such a waste having Rashy playing as a nr.9. Love Garnacho tho

7

100% He’s come in from the left twice and created 2 chances

2

We've bought players, sold players, and have had a reasonable summer and pre season, yet I feel like I'm watching the same team that was labouring through the last third of last season.

7

We seem a little static while Onana has the ball, giving him very few options to play out

6

Not gaining any meaningful progress from it. Hopefully this will be fluid throughout the season

1

Ten hag walking like he's going to lay down the law in the dressing room. I suspect we will wake up second half, and we need to honestly.

Think we need to see some changes soon, think Eriksen would do a decent job. Get Rashford on the left too

4

Yeah. Sancho as nr9 instead of Rashy would be interesting. Thought he looked alright there in preseason

3

Good call on the subs. They've definitely changed up the game since coming on, especially Sancho imo

1

Looked good tonight. I think he will show his worth better for the time to come.

2

Not the best half of football I've ever seen. Decision making in the final third needs to improve, but Wolves seem like they're just everywhere

4

Sancho looks great, physical fighting for the ball, hopefully it's not the sub effect like with Garnacho

4

Been struggling this game. Looking really exposed on wolves counters. Haven't been dealing with their pacey carriers well

4

Slow start, but our press has worked well so far. We’ve caught them in a dangerous area a few times now

2

That was more of a Rojo tackle. They don't fuck around in Argentina

Has the rule for subs changed?

I thought it was 5 subs, 3 sub opportunities. We subbed at HT, then Sancho and Eriksen, then Facundo... And now Rashford?

The half time sub doesn’t count for the three

3

We keep playing long balls but kept loosing the ball in their half due to a height disadvantage

1

Guess I'll comment from my alt while lemmy.world is down again. I said I'd take a cagey 1-0 win against Wolves, it's definitely been cagey so far

1

Feels like we were very lucky there. If it wasn’t for Wolves poor finishing, this could have been very different. But a win is a win, I’ll take it, but we really need to improve from here

You reached the end
