It will get restored within the first 6 months of a new Democratic President, same as everything else that gets changed
I’m not so sure. The dems will spruce up the place with lovely looking raised beds, herb gardens and other various fanfare, but the disfiguring foundational alterations carved out by these fascists will remain underneath for generations to come.
Only if we immediately decide that everything's fine and proceed to move forward willfully ignoring the very real changes that need to be focused on by everyone.

I read about this. There’s a drainage issue and the lawn is always wet in that area as a result. I don’t think that means paving it over is the best idea though.

I think it's because it's easier to defend a building if your soldiers have pavement under their feet. If I am correct, he may soon make modifications to the area around the white house, as well.
This has been planned for some time. Stop with the conspiracy crap. Yes, Trump does crazy shit to distract, we saw this the first four years. But making every crazy move out to be a distraction is plain bonkers and shows zero thought.
