But it's okay for Goldman Sachs to demand that their workers augment their tasks with AI? Either it's a tool that they are happy working with and incorporating into their business, or its not.

That's a bit different than using chatGPT in what is effectively a one-on-one interview. This isn't about writing a job application. It's about someone asking you a question and instead of you answering it you make chatGPT to answer it for you.
The funny part is that nowadays there are companies that interview you with an AI interviewer and are telling you not to use AI.
