Wonder what's gonna happen to my job. All of our software relies on the internet.

Go old school. The old internet was the local public library. The high street will thrive with new found customers. All the tech bros will need to find another sink for their funds - maybe they’ll take up philanthropy. I’m failing to see a downside here :-)

Go the fuck to sleep.

I mean that's what I want to do regardless

Hide in my house awaiting the inevitable social collapse. Or, if that's clearly not going to happen, buy an old fashioned book store

There are a few things I do on my computer that don't require the internet. I write, I do archviz, and 3D printing, for which, I can make my own models in Blender. I could pick up photography again. I have games I play that don't need internet access to run.

I also sew, as a hobby, which I could do on my hand-cranked Singer sewing machine, which doesn't even need electricity. I also have a few home improvement projects I've been dragging my feet on.

I'd miss it, but I'd be fine.
