As a swede having seen /r/foodporn's version of a cinnamon bun, all i can say is "we know".

For some reason, americans want cum on their buns. When called out for it, the whole swedish meme-reddit got banned 🙃

That's not how they were in Germany nor Spain, in both of these places they had no white stuff over it.

Ikea sells waaaaay more than just furniture. It's a little slice of Sweden in a giant metal shed. My guess is that American ikea sells glazed cinnamon buns because the Scandinavian ones are honestly a little bit shit.

They are the ones who perform hate crimes to the cinnamon bun. There is a correct way of making it, and it does not include jizz from a sugar plantation.

Have a look at how it's suppose to be done.

Those look amazing, but how is it different in regards to sugar plantations? Aren't they both effectively topped with glaze, either wet or pearled?

All i can say is that texture matters.

There is a relatively heated debate on whether Swedish chocolate balls should have coconut or pearl sugar. There is no middle ground.

This is a kanelbulle. Also known as a swedish style cinnamon bun. It's great!

I like that you posted the broadcast TV edit of the movie, which wasn't allowed to show the famous cum joke on-screen.

Same! I might bust it out and try it on the wife and kids tonight.

Naked Gun, The Mask, Hot Shots, Gremlins 2, Wayne's World, Groundhog Day, ...

Edit: I meant "Hot Shots" but typed "Top Gun"

I would expect most of Mike Meyers's work to do well because his jokes were always wordplay and fart humor, rather than racism and coping with being a cishet white guy.

4

sigh...... Yeaahhhhh.....

.... Yeahhh...... Okay, that's fair. Mini me and fatjokes and racism.......... And ageism.... Yeah It's not good.

Love guru though, I wiped that pos from my memory. So, my humblest appogies on that mistake.

And don't get me wrong, now thinking back to when I last watched the austin powers movies, I remember thinking "these still actually hold up at all, but won't last a ton longer".

Damn.

My memory even of like three years ago had me only remembering the good parts.

What about Ace Ventura? Surel- fuck. I mean. There's gotta be an amount of space for accepting some parts of movies that would otherwise not hold up, right? Like, I'm sure these people have come with us in society and learned better as society has....right? 🥹

Top Secret. Jaws: The Revenge. Both from the 80s, and both hilarious...though for entirely different reasons.

I wish that kind of slap stick comedy was still a thing, Top Secret is wonderful as well

The old ZAZ movies were great because they knew to hang the constant gags on a plot that, threadbare as it was, made it a silly movie and not a tedious collection of parody sketches where the actors just don't bother changing costumes.

Shoutout to “The Wrong Guy”, Dave Foley is a national icon.

2

A ton of movies from the 80s and 90s hold up well except for maybe one or two jokes that haven't aged well. In most cases, they could cut those specific jokes out without losing anything and the rest of the movie aged perfectly fine.

I'm sorry, but are you even familiar with Robin Williams's work?

Robin Williams was one of the most overrated comedians of the 80s and 90s.

I just watched Dirty Work last night for the first time in 20+ years and it was hilarious... But I'm a huge Norm fan, so I might be biased.

My first thought was "why the fuck am I seeing a cum glazed slug earring?" Don't know if it's my brain or the design that is at fault here

In Sweden, where cinnamon buns are from, the use of this kind of glaze does not exist - we use pearl sugar instead.

Also, the concept of Soggy Biscuit in Swedish is called 'Runka bulle', which loosely translates to 'Wank Bun', where bun by default refers to a cinnamon bun. So anytime we see a cinnamon bun with glazing, this is the only thing that comes to mind.

$4? That's a deal if I've ever seen one, especially in this economy.

I thought that the second one was a baked potato, also with cum. But it was just turned to the side.

I seem to be the only one who thinks this looks like a nasty ear infection.

2

Ok, now do a Krispy Kreme one. Cause clearly someone who would buy this would love a glazed ring... 0_0
