Don’t they do this to mess with paparazzi so they can’t pin or deny photos being on same or different days or something

46

Yeah, for a magazine or something to pay for a photo they would want it to to be something people haven't seen before. I know Radcliffe did a talk about wearing the same clothes (jacket really) when leaving movie sets every day so the locations, person, and clothing all matches for say 6 months. Value of the photos drop, less likely to have more paparazzi hounding you daily.

Daniel Radcliff famously did something like that when he was on broadway. Got 10 sets of the same shirt, hat, and jeans, left half at home and half at the theatre. Came and left wearing the same thing for year so the images coulden't be dated. Paparazzi made no money off him and threw a fit over it, twas glorious.

Coincidentally, I just found out a day ago that young Jack Black and Giovanni Ribisi starred in the same X-files episode, "D.P.O.", in 1995.
It's a pretty good one. On an unrelated note, this episode also features the IMHO best soundtrack of the series, with songs by James and Filter.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who does this too. After finding a t-shirt style that I really like, I'll buy 20 or 30 at once.

Same with pants, socks, shoes. In every pic I'm dressed exactly the same. I never have to think what to put on and I never have to think too hard about what to pack on a trip.

One less thing to worry or think about in life.

Bill Gates and Steve Jobs both did this too, at their respective career peaks.

Forbes revised its estimate of Holmes's net worth to zero

Ouch.

Fortune named her in its feature article on "The World's 19 Most Disappointing Leaders".

Ouch again. Maybe consistent fashion isn't the path to popularity?

edit: Quotes are from the Wikipedia article on her.

Just because she's leading in a disappointing manner doesn't mean she's not leading, to be fair.

Yeah but fuck him.

Fuck Jobs and Gates, too, for that matter...but the modern tech moguls are way, way more dangerous than those two were.

Sure, but I don't think that's impacted by acknowledging their clothing decisions.

Yeah but I try to pretend he doesn't exist. Which wasn't easy because my face-blindness really made me think Toby was Zuck in this post.

I just buy in bulk to save money, paying more for higher quality is a thing of the past.

Let me just get 15 of the same shirt and wear through them one by one. I don't care how i look anyway.

I do the same bro, I wear 30 pairs of shirts and pants on top of each other and every week I shed a layer. I call it the crustacean method.

The jacket I'm currently wearing is over 15 years old. I've worn it around 40,000 hours for £40. I will be extremely upset when it dies. Already the zip is broken and the fabric is thin..

That's true, but then it wouldn't be my jacket any more.

Replace the zipper and it'll be uniquely yours. Right now it's the factory's jacket, the same as thousands of others. Once you've started replacing parts it'll be one-of-a-kind.

Uh, why wouldn't he be? Apparently he'll be turning 50 this year but he looks like he's 35 so he must be living a pretty healthy lifestyle.
