This might just be a clever add. I'm not even joking.

Pokémon cards!

I collect really inexpensive ones so I'll order a handful at once from different sellers for a tenner or something, and enjoy a couple of days of envelopes all over Europe arriving with low-value cards inside.

The cards are cool and it's nice to build a collection, but the envelopes with their different postmarks and stamps are stories in themselves.

This is a great idea. I used to do this with MtG cards, researching and building budget decks.

Could take a week or more just working out the exact best cards for the budget, then another week or so ordering the cards, which would then trickle in tomorrow the next few weeks kn the post. Then you'd get to play the deck at your local club.

Was fun till I had way too many decks and cards, so I sold the lot.

Box of pencils and a couple of notebooks. Just fill em up with whatever. Plans, thoughts, drawings, observations, etc.

A tortilla throw blanket. This purchase has brought me so much joy, and it's super soft and comfy and looks hilarious when you're being a lazy couch burrito. I've been thinking about getting a baguette pillow to keep the food theme going lol

That's exactly how Consumer Society is meant to work: people buy shit to fill and unexplained void within them which turns out not to actually do so for long hence you have to buy more shit to fill that void.

Oh, and by the way, meanwhile advertising is, ALL THE TIME, blasting you with the idea that you're somehow not really happy and co plete without buying someshit (just look at all the happy people with their friends having fun around their MegaGrill 2000 ^TM^)
