I'm sure the process of getting the Supreme Court to block this (if they do) won't allow any sort of harm to everyone who can't get due process and sit in legal black holes while shitty court cases work though the system.

Actually, yes it does. Habeas Corpus is in Article One of the Constitution. Suspending it without an act of rebellion or invasion is an attack on the constitution. Those attacking the Constitution should get the blue shell, and that always takes out the leader.
