Whats pretty remarkable is how far Malta is from Israel. Israel doesnt usually project attacks that far across the Mediterranean. But two drones launched from a small boat is very easy to do. Poor man's aircraft carrier. Nothing a single Maltese fighter jet couldnt take care of pretty easily though.

Malta isn't part of NATO but I'd guess they have an air policing deal with Italy in one way or the other.
