I get the criticism on price, but what about it makes you think it's the "same game"?

Mario Kart and its engine don't seem like they had any upgrades since the Wii version, just a bit better graphics and now it jumps in price?

Yeah, same mechanics, different maps. Not worthy of $80, Nintendo has lost their mind.

Thats just not true though. There's a lot of new mechanics. Whether or not they're good mechanics I can't say, but they are definitely new.

$80 worth? If people truly gives Nintendo that much for it, then I guess they'll get away with it.

I didnt say $80 worth, I'm just saying it has a lot of new mechanics, I dont think it's fair to say they're just releasing the same game again.

The whole base design philosophy other than it being a mario themed kart racer is completely different this time. You've not even looked up a thing about this game have you?

I'm with you. New mechanics? You can drive to the next course? Cool. Can't wait for the dlc where you get to wash your kart after the race is over too.
