Is it just me or is Suikoden Remaster crazy fast to complete?
I mean, the battle fastfowarding helps somewhat.. but my PSX games were all over 40 hours each, some reaching 60.
but I beat Suikoden 1 Remaster last night in under 14 hours (Perfect ending, for those curious). I wasnt rushing or speed running, or following a guide or anything. Just memory, and even with lots of exploring after everystory step to recruit everyone the game still came down to 1/4th what some of my games on the PSX version ways.
and theres no story removed or abridged or anything that I can find.. I just can't imagine having a little bit of fast foward in battles can erase 25-45 hours of game play?
The first Suikoden was always short and you can always beat the original game in like 10-14 hours with everything completed as a veteran player. I think the speedruns are like two or three hours long.
The second game is longer, and usually takes 25 to 30 hours in the original to complete.
