Not sure. I have an old Venu.

I guess we could start by sharing news or watch faces. Obviously the numbers across Lemmy pale in comparison to R*****t, and most of the posts there are “which watch?” Or “I found a bug”…

I'm game and here to contribute where I can :)

Fenix 8 51mm amoled, following a long line of Garmin watches back to around 2013 when I switched from polar stuff over to a 910xt.

Nice! I think anything from new watches, customized watch faces, and fitness wins can live here.

You’ve been with Garmin for a bit, what’s kept you in the ecosystem the most?

Sorry, been sick as hell today. I have just always been happy with the features and capabilities.

I like that there's no subscription to your data too.

Oh no! Bet your Garmin loved all the stress from being sick 🤣

I’ve gone back and forth between an Apple Watch and Garmin multiple times and the lack of a subscription, simplicity of metrics presentation, and multitude of metrics always brings me back.

The stress was quite high today for sure as well as a 41 sleep score and I've been at 5 body battery half the day :(

1

Oof! I hope you recover well friend. That sounds rough, and it’s especially bad if you don’t get good sleep.

Instinct 2x I bought in autumn.

Maybe I look into a cycling Computer, but I'm not sure yet.

Great suggestion, thanks! I’m a beginner runner but Garmin has been a great tool at shaping me up.

Ah fantastic. It's a great hobby. It's my main form of exercise and I use the data from my Garmin a lot.

I run like 10-15 miles about every other week, trying to get in the habit of it. Balancing heat strength workouts and running is turning out to be a challenge for me

1

Oh that's great!! Yeah the balance is hard. For most there is only so much you can do with work, running, personal life, and just being tired!

You reached the end
