I guess, but only if you have a paradigm of a supernatural being that creates things.

I come from an art background, so I see the word "creator" in the context of an artist. Gods or spirits or whatever don't factor in.

Same for me, "creator" doesn't sound such a bell about Goddesses (or Gods) either.

"The originator" associates in my mind with Chaos from the Hades games more than with Abrahamic God, which is arguably cooler.
