They won't though, Elon dismantling our government gives them a daily breaking news headline and that's good for profits.

does the white house let not for profit reporters ask questions? /genq

That and immigration, existing while trans, debt relief for people who aren't disgustingly wealthy, environmental regulations, child labor laws, labor laws in general, voting laws, the concept of equality, separation of church and state, big gloves, inclines..

Or to summarize, things he doesn't personally like or which are inconvenient to his cult messaging.

11

I reckon addressing him as vice-president Trump in a public setting would have a non-zero effect on his ego.

9

I dont like how everyone is so focused on musk. Seems like a distraction from how bad trump is. If elon goes, trump stays, but if trump goes, then all of the assholes go with him.

9

JD Vance is next in line. Vance and Elon are circling Trump like a pair of vultures on a half dead carcass.

19

But Musk is one of the many bad things Trump has done, in fact things like renaming the Gulf of Mexico, Fort Liberty, and mount Denali and other stupid ass executive orders coming out of the oval office are specifically designed to outrage us and keep us distracted from Musk dismantling the government behind the scenes.

There's a decent chance of Musk going because he's there at the whim of notoriously fickle narcissist Trump. There is pretty much zero chance of Trump going anywhere for the next four years as long as he's alive.

4

I certainly wouldn't complain. But the "deep state" is only interested in assassinating progressives.

2

idk disagree Musk is literally Goebbels and I think you highly underestimate the human being’s ability to care about more than one thing

further! and this is significant, Musk is not an elected official. he does not have immunity for crimes he commits.

4

The thing everyone seems to be missing is that, Trump isn't in charge any more.

Look at his tweets, or whatever the fuck they're called, mostly focused and on point. Listen to his words, he doesn't ramble on and on and on. We only hear truncated quips. Also, he clearly has coaching that he's listening to.

Anyone remember how he got more and more demented as the election came closer? Anyone remember how his cognition dropped off a cliff in 2021 or so, and continued downwards, fast? How does he sound reasonably sane now?

The Project 2025 people have got him locked in as a mouthpiece, nothing more. Competent people are now in charge, this won't be like 2017.

The fact that people think shit like this would do something tells me that a good chunk of population has no idea what the fuck is actually happening. From the very beginning there have been constant posts of "Oooh Trump is gonna get big mad at Musky and they're gonna break up!!" but you're a damn fool if you think that will happen.

The US is in control of the billionaires now. No matter how stupid you think Trump is, he's not going to risk driving away the people that are paying his bills. Even if something were to happen with Elon, Vance is still there as a Peter Thiel puppet to keep Trump in check. You can say Trump is jealous of Elon all you want, but nothing is going to happen because Trump will ALWAYS bow to those richer than him.

OP doesn't understand the actual job of reporters.

These wacky jokes aren't going to help anybody.

I don't consider it a joke. It's obvious that reporters/journalists/the press are making things worse and motivating him by asking stupid questions over and over, like "are you willing to use military force against our allies?"

He answers something scandalous, the "news" repeats his stupid and scandalous answers, amplifies them, then escalate by asking even more potentially scandalous questions.

It's how they make a living. Things must have been very dull under Biden. Now they have people stressed and watching their stupid incessant flow of BS. It must be exciting for them.

Maybe they will soon ask him if he considers using military force against Europe if they don't do whatever the new world king wishes.

Holy shit and then you people complain when no one outside of this echo chamber can take you seriously.

The guy has been in courts, doing business deals for billions of dollars, made and destroy fortunes for years and a question at a press conference is going to destroy him?

Lmao y'all unhinged 🤣

The perma stun proceeds.

Did you see the debate? There's a reason the Trump puppet masters refused to let him do another, and it comes down to his reaction to something Kamala said.

But that being said, the plan is unrealistic for the simple reason that it assumes the press is working for Democrats - which as the results show, is clearly not the case.
