Assuming the FDA and regulations don't exist. Also no normal food.

Elmer's Glue because it's already supposed to be safe enough to ingest without toxicity problems.

Clay infused raw egg white mousse, shaved tree bark on a filters mud reduction and a linoleum chew to finish
I had a school kid who moved to a different district and then ate 12 non-latex gloves there before anyone noticed. Not recommended.
Grilled cheese-grater
Honey roasted wicker stools, sweet-and-sour paint chips, pulled rug sandwiches on cardboard printed to look like pretzel buns
Glass - crunchy ink (in various colours) - each one looks like it could have a different taste dandelions - vegan option
Judging by what my cat eats, paper and wires. The live current makes them spicy.
Glue in different colors, different hair salads, gravel and sand dishes. And a selection of straw, pencil, and pen appetizers so you have something to chew on while you pick.
Nice ideas for apps.
Also like the different colored glue. Its like sprinkles but liquid!
