Do you plan on magnetising the weapon options or can you just slide them on and they stay fixed?

Just got a sprue of them on eBay and I am wondering what I should do.

1

I have magnetized them. While you can just sit them on the top, they do tend to fall when moving.

I think this is a good direction. If the model is overall matte varnished, some brush on gloss on the metal helmet would look cool I think.

Some Marines from Imperium and a Bladeguard Vet who had been waiting his turn on my shelf.

Sandy boys. I'm so behind the times, are those just the current Thousand Sons marines or are they something special?

2

They're exalted sorcerers, which look pretty similar, but are a bit more fancy.

I'm once again working in on my Wolf Guard Battle Leader on Bike that I've been working on/off again since the end of 5th/beginning of 6th edition. One day I'll actually finish him, I swear!

I had been putting off painting this counts-as Kill Rig for a few months, but with Leviathan almost here, I need to finish it before I start on bugs.

That's going to be really cool when it's done. I like the robo-squiggoth design, and your color choices are very strong.

WIP Chaos Torments. Also first time using contrast paints:

The demon flesh looked good after just one coat of paint, but the human skin was a bit trickier, so I had to highlight it separately afterwards.

2

My WIPs aren't Warhammer. It's pretty hard to find the communities for smaller and obscure miniature games, so I'm just here to see everyone else's 40k stuff.

Plus the lore and designs are pretty cool.

Check out the tabletop gaming community here on Lemmy.world (my brain is too smooth to properly link, but search for it in local) and post there.

I’ll try to serve up minis and lore for your personal entertainment here.
