The joke is they are going to get rid of the non whites that voted for Trump first to atleast get a few videos for the press and please the basic Trump voters.
The reason is because it will not be easy to find the illegals so they gotta get the easy targets first.
My country had that shi.t 90 years ago and 50% of americans voted for this mess my country went through in the 1930s. Don't feel sorry for the legal immigrants who voted on this and also get deported. Remember you aren't white.
They should really attache the blue states to Canada and just call it a day. Why even want to be "united" with that cra.p? If I were american and had money I'd def leave the next four years cause this is going to get messy really fast.

Canada has its own conservativism problems. That said, the blue states are by definition the ones who majority voted against this

Not just because of non voters but also the people unable to vote me being one of these due to bipartisan efforts to keep certain people from participating in democracy
Now on to the ones who did vote - did you consider the bipartisan efforts through the decades to up the pollution, downgrade education standards, keeping poverty ramped up through policies such as a minimum wage that is extremely below living wages, over funding police, etcetera that add up to the under informed populace that did vote
US elections are just more bread and circuses with no meat just some sorry looking past the expiration date potatoes

You can’t deport citizens
If a cop rolled up on you, could you prove right then and there you are a citizen? Unless you habitually carry your passport or birth certificate or immigration papers, almost certainly not.
Are you going to have any way to prove it while you are in a holding facility with no access to a lawyer or at best a public defender who has heard the same story 80 times today?
This certainly wouldn't be the first time an American Citizen got deported.

Are licenses not like that in other states?
You don't have to be a citizen to get a license in a lot of places. I actually don't know of any that do but clearly I'm not fully informed.
I don't think illegals can get a license here.
Non-citizens have to provide documentation to convert their out-of-country license.
Looks like anyone who has a "non-compliant" license is able to maintain it but new ones are no longer issued.
Illegals are a significant form of labor in this red state but the state hates them.

When your non-citizen family members go ... I'm losing a school kid next week. I think her mom is scared so she's going home. Kid is non-verbal, non-ambulatory, super sweet and doing well at school. What will her life look like in Venezuela? Dad is staying, but he can't work and take care of the kiddo.

I think what you mean to say is "deporting a citizen would be illegal." It is certainly possible for police and presidents to do illegal things. Remember the broad immunity granted to presidents by SCOTUS?
