I agree. In reality they may not be terribly different knowledge wise but it makes a lot of difference when someone acts like a human vs acting confidently incorrect (lying) all day every day.
You can tell this is the one issue he has no real stance on. His handlers are telling him he has to pander, but he's comically bad at it.
