[Defect] after a certain point, comment chains just get cut off.
I've noticed a few times that a long comment chain will eventually just cut off and only show the first few comments in the chain.
I'll get a notification that I got a new message but it's impossible to read in the chain. I can only read it from my inbox and it's impossible to respond to. There might be other comments along with mine but I'll never see them unless I go into another app or the browser window

Confirmed.
I thought I had violated some particularly stringent instance/community rules, or that my home instance had been defederated or something. Nah, my comments just aren't appearing in Connect.
I've had the same thing happen times well. I thought it was a weird Lemmy issue and didn't realize it was an issue with Connect.
Yeah it's definitely a connect thing. I can go to liftoff and find the entire thread. Nothing against connect, it's my favorite lemmy app so far

Is this still happening on beta 1.0.98?
It's definitely better, but I looked at one chain that says has 22 replies but I only counted 12. I can't recall if there are actually supposed to be 22 or if the count is just wrong. But it's more than it was before
