trying to figure out how to post inline images from an Imgur link.. so far, nothing works.
Best I can do is build an Album and link to it.

I have had luck with uploading the pics straight in the post.
Looks like you can use one photo as the post thumbnail, that shows up on the main page, then post as many as you want in the body if your post.

yes, uploading from my desktop works, but I cannot upload from an image host,
if I post an image link it acts the way reddit did, people have to clic on each link to see the image
Oh, I haven't tried that, that's annoying. Its a better experience if the photos are just displayed, but I suppose we are all used to having to click the imgur links anyways.

that is why I like to use BLF, I can post images inline, like this post
Where did you manage to get a new DQG? They aren't still being sold, are they? Yeah it would be nice to be able to have Lemmy retrieve images from arbitrary urls.
I would like to know if you figure it out.

reddit works like Lemmy,
the only way I know to get an image to show inline with a post, both on reddit and lemmy, is to upload from my computer
I cannot post an inline image from imgur, it just shows up as a link, not a pic
I've had success posting on Reddit with it. Make sure to vote Monday so we can get that sub back.
