Wow, I didn't realize ActivityPub or Federated platforms went back that far. What platform/s were you on back then?

Congratulations! I've been around for roughly the same amount of time, and it's wild to see how much things have changed.
I still miss old Identi.ca, though.
I remember getting a lot of posts i couldn’t read because language tagging wasn’t a thing. it was great.
Congrats! How had you learned about it? How did you use it?
My friends and I were trying to figure out how to set up an isolated WWW resistant to censorship and found identi.ca.
We set up an instance but never federated and used to to send memes to each other for years.
I did create an account on one of the federating services but it was rough back then. No one was tagging their post languages so it was like 10 or so different languages mixed together. I loved it.
