Yes I know this is oniony and that's why it's hilarious and I wanted to do the math anyway. My math says that if she hadn't won £400,000 in the lottery, it would've taken her 282 years to save up £400,000 at the rate of saving £1300 every 11 months. Someone please check my math because I am an average C student. How was my math?

Maybe 282 years if you count interest. Otherwise your math is wrong - 400,000/1300 is just under 308 yearsI misread, 11 months not 12
Edit: I checked with 11 months and your math is (basically) correct. 282 years is 399927.27
