Can we settle this: how many holes does a straw have?
This classic question came up at work and became a big discussion.
I think the answer is two, but others really disagreed. What do you think?

It's just a single hole that happens to traverse the length of the tube/cylinder. Take a donut or bagel, for instance. Easy to agree that there's just a single "hole" in it. Well, does elongating the donut create more holes? No, of course not. So what is a straw but an elongated donut?
But I can eat bagels and donuts. I can't eat my straw
what if it's a metal washer, then, instead of a donut
Well, there are straws made of edible material too.
If straws had two holes, then we wouldn't be able to get any liquid through. It's one hole.
