You're probably actually having microsleeps. Actually fully staying awake is actually quite difficult.

The problem is always who is stopping you saying something and why. Generally you'll have half the people reading a comment to agree with you and half disagree. So I err on just allowing it and I'll block users etc if I don't want to see them. Then it's a personal choice.
