No Luck = No Gain
Throughout my past few encounters with a game like UNO, I still believe that it depends on pure luck (and a little insight into the game) ๐๐ฝโโ๏ธ
Am I the only one to think so? If not, what are your views on the same?

When playing drunk Uno, what counts as "good" and "bad" luck gets quite subjective.
There are strategies you can use. Try to save a wild or +2 till the end,
Most of the time people end up getting screwed when they're almost done but they do not have enough cards and end up picking more.
When it comes to games, there's a scale. Almost all games include some skill and some luck.
This one time a friend of mine got dealt the luckiest hand ever and was about to be done before anyone else, but at the very end he forgot to say "Uno" and had to pick more cards, guy ended up losing very bad.
So yeah... it's a lot of luck + some skill, although the skill level is nowhere close to something like blackjack
Sure theres luck with individual hands and draws involved. What I find matters more is how good the player is at managing that luck and optimizing the win percentage by making good moves and using smart tactics.
I've seen extremely unlucky hands checkout first (first to 500), and inversely, I've also seen one extremely lucky hand get screwed because they didn't know when to time their strategic non number cards right.
Optimizing your cards matters more than luck if you ask me.
Hmmm. Makes a lot of sense to me now ๐ค while also clearing so many unknown doubts and bringing up many more indeed... That game is one of the many tricky games to exist ๐
Good luck to you, and thanks for the response <3
UNO is like gambling, change my view.
Well that's a weirdly funny way to term a game per say ๐ although gambling too does involve a lot of risk and chance ๐ค but that could be brought out in a completely different area of discussion I guess ๐คท๐ฝโโ๏ธ
Yo! Its the same thing you said for black people back in the days, grandpa! didnt you?
Change my view nevertheless.
I'm a proud old man, and I still feel that colors have a hierarchy.
Good sir, you might think that color (wont mention which one) has a hierarchy, and the only thing that can change your view, is an eye surgeory, cuz all you see is white.
@yabadabadoo, my guy, you suffering from cataract, you need a change
