What’s your take on the recent David Grusch whistleblowing about the US having intact UFOs?

Probably highly unlikely there's gonna be any sort of i invention derived from downed alien tech. Kind of like inventing an LCD screen from a broken screen that was dropped out of a plane. Not to mention the end product says nothing about the technology that is needed to build the tools that built the product. For instance knowing that a chip has a 2 nm gates is useless without knowing how the fabrication process works. And these are just examples of human tech. Chances are we're not even going to be able to comprehend alien tech that is at least a thousand years ahead.
There's certainly something out there. It could be aliens or it could also be some kind of natural phenomena (maybe about dark matter or something idk) that we are yet to understand. Aliens seem kind of unlikely imo.
For sure, I’m still not convinced it’s aliens-aliens — like from another planet/dimension, etc. But I do think the weird tech is probably real and not of current human origin. I don’t know if that means there are some superior species in the deep oceans that we haven’t officially contacted yet, or there is time or dimension travel involved or what, but it really does seem like it’s something as opposed to just fantasy.
There exists something called a von Neumann probe which self replicates and essentially spreads throughout the galaxy. There's no reason why a probe couldn't somewhere in the solar system sending a few crafts to earth every once in a while. Actually living aliens seem unlikely tbh.
It’s kind of wild to think about, even though I’ve always been interested in UFOs. Now that there are the beginnings of actual physical proof, I’m kind of excited but also kind of scared at what it all could mean.
Hopefully at least the government can manage to make it public and we as humanity could start trying to learn from the technology instead of secretly trying to make it into weapons.
Not sure that's a good idea in any capacity. At least a quarter of all science fiction has that going bad in the best of circumstances and we as a society currently are too immature and destructive to handle something like that.
Best keep it locked away imo
