I think the biggest issue is not enough users but hoping that will be sorted in time. The other issue is not creating your own Clans, I think if this function was working from the get go we would see more activity.
Probably the App UI, things are too large/convoluted. There is a lot of information not making it on screen at a given time due to large buttons/padding.
Sometimes, a conversation needs to go on more than 5 replies deep.
I feel like it's probably a resource management issue that might be solved later when Spyke has more server resources, but in the mean time, it does get a bit frustrating sometimes. :/
Actually, we set the limit because the comment text goes out of viewport on the front-end after 5 levels (making comments deeper than level 5 harder to read)
For some technical reason, we aren't able to get the same font size across all devices (smaller screens are more susceptible to shallower comment depths) and we also don't have a comment pagination system yet.
Someone mentioned that clearing the app data and re loggin in on Android helped. Should also work for testflight. I am getting notifications no problem.
I liked the way Reddit handled multiple photos in a post.
but maybe a slightly more prominent indicator saying how many images there are so you don't scroll by without noticing there's more than one.
Also, my biggest issue with images is that you can't open an image to zoom in. I have poor vision, and sometimes I can't see what's going on in images.
Over 90% of my Reddit activity was through Apollo so I’m not missing a web interface terribly for Spyke.
Most of my gripes so far are fairly minor and not a lot to do with the app itself: too few people, too few clans, and I’m missing a few QoL features that Reddit/Apollo had that haven’t made it here yet.
There is a lot of fine tuning that could be done but I don’t have any major complaints.
The ability to make our own clans is very important.
You should let users sign up using only email and password

Reply level limits.

But I assume it's an issue you're working on that is planned to be solved in the future, right?
It's in our list of issues, but unfortunately it's at a lower priority. Email auth, feed sorting and create your clan are high priority
Yis those are all great high priorities.
I was just mentioning one that I didn't see others mentioning.
I think y'all are doing a great job, so far, and I'm looking forward to all the improvements that are yet to come. ^v^
P O R N O R N
Why? There are already so many alternatives for that.
Needs more users asap
that's really the biggest thing imo
Other things I can deal with but without a bigger userbase, there's just not much to do
Too few people. While it's hard getting used to Spyke, Reddit chose the bed it's sleeping in.
Why is it getting hard for you?
Not hard for me. Did I create this post? Read the other comments and other Reddit refugees talking about detachment.
No notifications when someone replies on your post.
I see that as a plus. But unfortunately it does work for me.

Can’t post multiple photos
Would you rather have a Twitter styled carousel or a reddit/Instagram style one
