As much as I love ST, anyone else feel they've been milking it for too long? Same goes for star wars as well honestly.

100% but I'd say Star Wars more so than Star Trek, just look at Disney+, the amount of Star Wars there is ridiculous.

Oh yeah. Disney milks a franchise to death better than anyone. Appreciate the budget and gfx but the OG feel isn’t there anymore imo.

It’s a new series based on the Enterprise a few years before the Captain Kirk times.

And yes, it is classic Trek in that respect. Gives me that vintage trek fizz, anyway.

I didn't know this existed until I saw a billboard advertising the new season while I was on the way into work. Is the series any use?

Oh right, I'll have to check it out. I do like the actor Anson Mount since his Hell on Wheels show.

Anson Mount as Pike is quite a treat- think of his steely resolve from HoW, and add a lot of humor- the characters really are perfect

Characters from the original series- Spock, Uhura, Kirk eventually. Some think this makes the JJ Abrams ST movies irrelevant, but I think there’s plenty of room for all of them :)
